Antonio Ortiz Sánchez
CIO, CFO and Co-founder
Antonio Ortiz Sánchez is a co-founder of Sextaplanta and currently serves as the company’s CIO and CFO. Born in Málaga, with a professional career that combines strategic vision and technical expertise, Antonio brings together two core competencies in digital ecosystems: business model design and the management of technological development.
As Sextaplanta’s Head of Technology, he has led and executed the development of SIX, a cloud-based property management system (PMS) for tourist accommodations, connected to major distribution channels (OTAs) such as Booking, Expedia, and Airbnb through various channel managers.
Antonio holds a Higher Technician qualification in Travel Agencies and Event Management from I.E.S. La Rosaleda. Before joining Sextaplanta in 2016, he worked for eight years at Agencia de Viajes Atlanta, where he held several leadership roles in the Business Travel, Leisure, Conferences, and Events divisions, as well as serving as Project Manager on various corporate initiatives.
Since joining Sextaplanta, he has also assumed the company’s financial management, overseeing investment strategy, financing, and the payment collection services provided to clients.
